Dia Box Review

{Referral Link}

I decided to try a new clothing subscription service called Dia box. I wrote to my stylist to let her know that I work during the day and then see my boyfriend right after work. I asked for some pieces that could transition from work to chillin’ without too much effort.

I forgot to take pictures of the two items I returned. One was a pretty wrap dress. I would have kept it, but it was way too short. It barely covered my lady bits. But, it was too long to be a shirt. So, just awkward in general. The other item I returned was a statement necklace. It was just a little too bulky for me.

I kept a blouse, a cardigan, and some jeans. Let’s take a look!

The blouse is white with black dots on it. (The skirt is from Gwynnie Bee, by the way.)

I also kept this black cardigan. It seems pretty standard from the front, but wait!dia-box-clothing-review

Check out the back!! It’s so cute! It laces up and has a little peek-a-boo chiffon. I’ve probably worn this cardigan 1,000 times since I bought it a week ago. Ok, that might be an exaggeration, but I freaking love it!clothing-subscription-review

Finally, I kept the jeans. They actually fit really well! I’ve lost a wee bit of weight and all my other jeans are too baggy. I constantly have to pull them up. It’s really nice to have a pair of jeans that actually fits so I don’t have to worry about my pants falling down!

I just swapped the skirt out for the jeans and now I’m ready to hang out with my man! A pretty easy transition if you ask me!dia-box-subscription-review

I feel like the stylist at Dia really took into account my feedback for my initial order. We’ll see if they can keep it up long-term! I’ll post again in March when my next box arrives! And, hopefully this time I’ll remember to take pics of all the pieces! LOL.

Julep Maven April 2014 Box (Part 1 of 2)

I received my April 2014 Julep Maven box last week. This month, I decided to upgrade to the polish lover’s full box because I really couldn’t decide which polishes I wanted! Therefore, the only reasonable thing to do was to get all nine of them, right? Look at them! Just look at them! Drool!!!! This is, by far, the best collection Julep has ever put together. There isn’t a plain creme in the bunch!! Each one is gorgeous in its own right and has a little extra flair.

Julep April 2014 MavenHere are the first 6 of the 9 colors. I will post the remaining 3 tomorrow. (All swatches are two coats.)

Julep Maren is a light pink with blue a frosty duochrome finish. It is amazing and gorgeous. In fact, I actually wore it for a full mani for a full day after swatching these!! It’s gorgeous!

Julep Sunny is a metallic bright yellow. I don’t usually like yellow all that much, but this one is just too cheerful to pass up!

Julep Tatum is a metallic lime green. This is another one that I wouldn’t normally pick, like Sunny, but it’s just so cheerful that I love looking at it!
