Good morning and happy Friday!! I started this mani with Sally Hansen Red-ience which was sent to me as a press sample. I used Konad Black to stamp this design from It Girl Plate IG116

In other news…If you’re local to the Seattle-Tacoma area, I’m looking for people to try LipSense for the first time. No pressure, I’m not going to ask you to buy it. I’m just looking for people who are willing to let me film their reactions. I’ll even buy the coffee! Hit me up if you’re interested.

Matte Stamping Nail Art

{Press Sample}{Purchased by Me}

Hello! Hello! Today’s mani uses Omega Pebbles as stamping polish. Out of the 5 I was sent, this one is probably the best stamper of the bunch. The base color is Omega Pacific Blue and the design is from It Girl Plate IG116.

Do you like it better glossy or matte??

Red and Mint Stamping

Good morning! Today’s mani starts with Omega Airey Fairy and then is stamped with Omega Too Hot to Trot! I’ve found that the Omega polishes I received as a sample all stamp quite nicely. :) This design is from It Girl Plate 116.it-girl-plate116 omega-nail-polish-stamping

Sinful Colors Kiss Goodnight Nail Art

{Press Sample}{Purchased by Me}

Sinful Colors Kiss Goodnight was sent to me in the Influenster Fierce Vox Box, free of charge. This SinfulColors is part of the Kandee Johnson collection. She was one of the very first beauty bloggers I ever followed so I’m really happy to have one of her polishes in my collection!

For the nail art, I used It Girl Amethyst stamping polish with It Girl Plate IG116. If you haven’t tried It Girl yet, you really should. Nicole is absolutely the best.

Metallic Stamping

{Purchased by Me}

Today’s mani starts with two coats of Orly Big City Dreams which is from the La La Land collection. I used Mundo de Unas Metallic Purple to stamp these fun kaleidoscope style images from an It Girl Stamping Plate.

mundo-de-unas-metallic-purple it-girl-nail-art-stamping

Here is a plain swatch of Big City Dreams. Some bloggers had issues with this collection being a little patchy. I found that if I thought about it like it was a crelly and not a creme, then I had a decent time applying it.orly-big-city-dreams-swatch orly-big-city-dreams

Today we’re getting our taxes done and I’m soooo scared. This is the first year where I’ll have to do taxes for my businesses (yes, plural!!) including self-employment stuff AND my day job stuff. The pile of paperwork is MASSIVE. And I’m sure I’m going to owe a lot. I’ve never owed before! I’ve always gotten at least a little something back!!!!! This is super stressing me out. No wonder people just pay someone to take care of all of this stuff. Taxes are, so far, the worst part about being a business owner!

Sweet Kisses Nail Art

This evening’s mani is one of my favorites that I’ve done in a long time. Let’s just say that I’m pretty pleased with myself for choosing to matte this look.

Here’s the look with a glossy topcoat. It’s pretty, but I definitely love it better matte. Which do you prefer?it-girl-kisses-plate

This mani starts with two coats of Orly Head in the Clouds from the La La Land collection. I used Konad Red to stamp this design from a wonderful plate designed by It Girl Nail Art.kisses-nail-art

Here is a swatch of Orly Head in the Clouds. Many people have reported issues with the La La Land collection. However, I did not experience those problems. Some have said they’re streaky and need 3-4 coats. This is 2 coats in these photos. I found that if I thought of it like a crelly instead of a thick cream that it helped me apply it well. orly-head-in-the-clouds-swatch orly-head-in-the-clouds

Nude Lace Nail Art

{Purchased by Me}

I’m still obsessed with It Girl’s new stamping plates. Today, I’m using It Girl Plate 306 to create a nude lace nail art look. I started with two coats of OPI Sweet Memories which is nearly identical to my natural nail’s look. Then, I used It Girl Alabaster white stamping polish to put on the lace design.

I really love how nice and delicate this turned out. Also, It Girl’s stamping polish is ah-maz-ing. Even with small, intricate patterns, you don’t lose any of the image during transfer. Also, it doesn’t stink to high heaven like other stamping polishes. I don’t know what witchcraft Nicole does to her stamping polishes, but it’s certainly working!

Here is a swatch of OPI Sweet Memories. As you can see, it barely even looks like I have polish on at all. It’s the perfect color for nude and negative space nail art.opi-sweet-memories opi-sweet-memories-swatch

Kaleidoscope Stamping

{Press Sample}{Purchased by Me}

It Girl has released a new plate that looks like a Kaleidoscope Stamping Plate. It is plate IG202. For the base color, I used Pretty Serious Corvus Corax (press sample) which is a deep, deep blue jelly. For the stamping, I used Mundo de Unas Mexican Pink.

I know on Sundays I normally have an update on how my SeneGence adventure is going. However, I posted a fairly decent update about it yesterday! Admittedly, not a whole lost has changed in the last 24 hours…so I’m not going to have a full update about it today. :)

However, if you have any questions about what it’s like behind the scenes, ask them here!  Don’t forget to come hang out with me in my Facebook group! https://www.facebook.com/groups/bettysbeautybazaar/

Knotty Hearts Nail Art

{Purchased by Me}

Good morning, good morning!

I just saw what my first commission check from SeneGence is going to be. I am SO glad I signed up! I feel like I should give the whole check to Cassidy, who is the one who signed me up last October. (I’m not going to…but like…I feel like I should.)

My first check (for doing nearly nothing) from SeneGence is $577. That is on top of the profits I get from selling product!

If you have been on the fence about signing up to join my team, jump in! It’s only $55 to sign up which is the lowest entry barrier to starting your own business that I’ve ever heard of in the entire universe! (It cost me about $1,000 to start my dog training business! And that’s a very conservative estimate!)

I signed up on 10/27/2016 because I was kinda bored at work one day.Seriously. I can’t imagine what sort of butterfly effect caused that to happen, but I am SO, SO glad it did! There are only about 70,000 SeneGence distributors in the US. (Compare that to over 1,000,000 for Mary Kay and Avon…EACH.)

I know you’re ready to join me on this wild ride. And don’t worry, I’ll help you every step of the way! Go to senegence.com/bettysbeauty and click on “Sell Senegence” to get started. It will send me an email and then I’ll get in contact with you to get everything set up.

Anyway….I know that you’re really here for the nail art. Today’s look starts with two coats of Glam Polish Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Then, I used It Girl Currant Stamping Polish to stamp this knotty hearts nail art design from It Girl Plate IG115

Black and White Lace Nail Art

{Purchased by Me}{Press Sample}

I have some lacy nail art for you today! I started with two coats of Pretty Serious Araenae (Press Sample) which is a deep, deep dark purple jelly. I used It Girl White Stamping Polish and It Girl Plate IG306 to stamp the design on top.

it-girl-plate-306

I am extremely impressed with the It Girl stamping polishes. They are as pigmented as Mundo de Unas, but without the smell. I need Nicole to make some in every single color in the entire color spectrum and in every finish!it-girl-stamping-polish

Black Heart Nail Art

{Purchased by Me}

I have another mani for you today using It Girl Plate IG115 which is her Valentine’s Day themed plate. I wanted to do something a little less foofy so I started with two coats of OPI I Drive a Supernova. Then, I used It Girl Obsidian black stamping polish and this slashed hearts design to create this black heart nail art look.

Pink Holo Nail Art

{Purchased by Me}{Affiliate Link}

I have a wee bit of stamping on my nails to show you today. The base color is Glam Polish How to Marry a Millionaire. I posted a ton of Glam Polish swatches yesterday. You should check it out here.

For the stamping color, I used Mundo de Unas Turquoise and a design from a Cici & Sisi Stamping Plate.

In other news…my work is closed today because it’s a snow day! Hooray! I hate the snow, but I will accept it if and only if it comes down in enough volume to close my work. FREE DAY! What should I do today? Paint my nails? Yes. Shower? We’ll see…

Valentine’s Day Nail Art

{Purchased by Me}

Just in time for Valentine’s Day….I have some Valentine’s Day nail art to show you! The base color for this look is OPI One Chic Chick which is a really nice light yellow creme polish. I finally bought It Girl Coral stamping polish after lusting after it on susanannie‘s nails. I also bought It Girl Plate IG115 which is full of awesome Valentine’s day stamping images. Her shipping is quite fast so if you order soon, you should have it before the 14th.

Green Stamping

{Purchased by Me}{Affiliate Links}

Today’s mani starts with Glam Polish Nobody Gets Left Behind or Forgotten. I really love the look of a two-tone mani so I decided to do a little green on green stamping. The stamping polish is Konad Green and the design is from a Cici&Sisi Stamping Plate.

Dark Blue Jelly – Pretty Serious Chiroptera

{Press Sample}{Purchased by Me}{Affiliate Links}

You might think that Pretty Serious Chiroptera (press sample) is black, but you’d be wrong. It’s really a dark, dark, dark blue/teal color. It’s also a jelly finish. :) Don’t believe me? Well, then you’ll just have to buy it and try it out for yourself. I used Konad White to stamp this swirly design from CiCi&SiSi Plate 02.
