Hello, hello and happy Saturday! I have some more nail art just for you today. Why? Because you’re my favorite, that’s why!!! I started with two coats China Glaze Flame-Boyant from the new Summer Reign collection. This hot baby was originally sent to me as a press sample from China Glaze.
Then, I grabbed my Mundo de Unas Turquoise because teal/blue and red are like pretty awesome together. This design is from It Girl Plate IG 307.
If you have not tried It Girl stamping plates, then you need to get off my blog right now and get your ass over to her etsy store and get some. I promise you won’t regret. On the off chance that you do, she has the best customer service known to the nail world. But you won’t regret. So there you go. ;)
FUN FACT: I have a shitload of nail polish and I just need to get rid of some of it. Therefore, every LipSense order I get this week will have a surprise bottle of polish in it! :O All you need to do is leave a comment on this order form with your favorite polish color and I’ll include one in your package! So not only do you get to try the most freaking amazing lipstick ever, but you get free polish. Whaaaa?!?!?!!?
Today’s mani starts with two coats of Orly Big City Dreams which is from the La La Land collection. I used Mundo de Unas Metallic Purple to stamp these fun kaleidoscope style images from an It Girl Stamping Plate.
Here is a plain swatch of Big City Dreams. Some bloggers had issues with this collection being a little patchy. I found that if I thought about it like it was a crelly and not a creme, then I had a decent time applying it.
Today we’re getting our taxes done and I’m soooo scared. This is the first year where I’ll have to do taxes for my businesses (yes, plural!!) including self-employment stuff AND my day job stuff. The pile of paperwork is MASSIVE. And I’m sure I’m going to owe a lot. I’ve never owed before! I’ve always gotten at least a little something back!!!!! This is super stressing me out. No wonder people just pay someone to take care of all of this stuff. Taxes are, so far, the worst part about being a business owner!
It Girl has released a new plate that looks like a Kaleidoscope Stamping Plate. It is plate IG202. For the base color, I used Pretty Serious Corvus Corax (press sample) which is a deep, deep blue jelly. For the stamping, I used Mundo de Unas Mexican Pink.
I know on Sundays I normally have an update on how my SeneGence adventure is going. However, I posted a fairly decent update about it yesterday! Admittedly, not a whole lost has changed in the last 24 hours…so I’m not going to have a full update about it today. :)
I have a wee bit of stamping on my nails to show you today. The base color is Glam Polish How to Marry a Millionaire. I posted a ton of Glam Polish swatches yesterday. You should check it out here.
For the stamping color, I used Mundo de Unas Turquoise and a design from a Cici & Sisi Stamping Plate.
In other news…my work is closed today because it’s a snow day! Hooray! I hate the snow, but I will accept it if and only if it comes down in enough volume to close my work. FREE DAY! What should I do today? Paint my nails? Yes. Shower? We’ll see…
Hello, hello! Today’s mani starts with a gorgeous concoction from Pretty Serious. This pink duochrome is Pretty Serious Mad Skill of Cloverton and I freaking love it. I almost didn’t even put a design on top of it because the polish itself is a work of art.
But…I did put nail art on top. LOL. I used It Girl Plate 302 and Mundo de Unas Red Wine to create the below look.
At the request of one of my downlines, I made a video showing all the Senegence makeup products I use on a daily basis. I’m certainly no makeup artist, but here’s my usual routine.
In the mood for some silly nail art? Well, you’ve come to the right place. LOL Today’s mani starts with OPI I Believe in Manicures. (I actually hate the formula for this polish. You can read about that here.) For the stamping polish, I used Mundo de Unas Iris and the leopard print is from an It Girl Stamping Plate.
In case any of you are still wondering about my ring finger… If I’m feeling sassy, I tell people it’s my signature look and/or it’s an ‘accent shape.’ But really, I just broke the corner off and I’m waiting for it to grow out. :P
Christmas is over, but winter is not! So here is a little snowflake nail art for you today. I started with two coats of OPI Fire Escape Rendezvous (which is one of the more terrible polishes in the Breakfast at Tiffany’s collection. See my full review here.) Luckily, once it was stamped, you can’t really see the awefullness that is this chunky glitter polish. For stamping, I used Mundo de Unas White. The snowflakes are from It Girl plate IG114.
I know the holidays are a wonderful time for some and a terrible time for others. I hope that all of you can enjoy what’s good about them and forget what’s bad. And, don’t worry, the Valentine’s Day candy will be out any minute now.
Today’s mani starts with two coats of Different Dimensions Audrey which is from the most recent Holo Hookup box. This polish is what prompted me to buy the box, in fact. I bright pink holo? Yes, please! Keep scrolling down to see the argyle nail art I did on top of this.
I love argyle patterns and I thought it would look really nice on top of this bright pink. I grabbed It Girl Plate IG104 and Mundo de Unas White for this creation.
I’m going to have to toot my own horn here for a second. Even though this mani is not perfect, I’m pretty impressed that I got each nail’s image straight. And not just on my four ‘model’ fingers! All 10 fingers have a straight argyle design. With minimal to no smudging! Whaaaa????
Have I told you lately that I appreciate you? If you scrolled all the way down to the bottom of this post, then you’re awesome.
Today’s mani starts with lots and lots of green polishes. :) I started with two coats of Pretty Serious Enchanting Evergreen which is from the Ghosts of Christmas Past collection and was sent to me as a press sample. Then, to make it more duo-chrome-like I layered Pretty Serious Mojito on top. Finally, I used Mundo de Unas Lime to stamp the Christmas Trees design from It Girl Fashion Plate IG113.
Today’s mani is some blue and white nail art. I started with two coats of Pepper Pot Polish Friends with Penalities which is a new-to-me brand. This brand is local to me so I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to try it! I’m such a slacker!!! The formula was smooth and the names are awesome. In fact, I bought this blue simply for the hilarious name.
I used Mundo de Unas as my stamping polish and It Girl Nail Art Plate IG303 which is a new addition to Nicole’s stamping plate offerings.
Today, I’ll be straying away from holiday nail art in order to show off one of my favorite color combinations – pink and blue! The pink is China Glaze Eat, Pink, Be Merry from the Seas and Greetings collection (which was originally sent to me as a press sample). The stamping polish is Mundo de Unas Turquoise and the design is from It Girl plate IG101.
I’m so happy that my nails are finally starting to grow out from the super bad break I had last August/September! (All my nails turned to nubs!!)
In other news, I have subscribed to a meal service called Munchery. (That’s my personal invite link.) I like this a lot better than services like Blue Apron because with Munchery, the food actually comes prepared! I seriously loathe cooking.
With the other services, you still had to chop shit. And measure shit. I can’t handle it. I hate it so much. So, I decided to have my food brought to me! LOL. Munchery drops off prepared food between 3pm and 5pm and all I have to do is heat it up! It’s chef-prepared and never frozen and tastes delicious.
The added bonus is that you can order all the way up to 1pm that same day for dinner that night. So you don’t even have to really plan ahead! Munchery is my dream come true.
Today I have more nail art featuring stamping!!! The base polish for this mani Pretty Serious HTF which is from their Serious Business collection and was sent to me as a press sample. I used Mundo de Unas White to stamp this beautiful diamonds design on top. The stamping plate is It Girl Nail Art Plate IG112 which is one of her newest four plates and was also given to me as a sample.
Bows! And Ribbons! Let’s celebrate! This mani starts with two coats of Pretty Serious Dupe. Then, I used It Girl Plate IG112 to stamp the celebratory design on top. Both this polish and the plate were sent to me as press samples. The stamping polish is Mundo de Unas Mint.
Plate IG112 is one of four new offerings by It Girl Nail Art. Until the 7th, she is having a promo where you can get three plates for $33. That’s a pretty great deal. So head on over there and check it out!
Today’s super girly nail art starts with two coats of Pretty Serious Purple Monkey Dishwasher. I used It Girl Plate IG 112. Both of these items were sent to me as press samples. I used Mundo de Unas Lilac as my stamping polish.
I love this plate’s designs. High heels? Yes, please! Nail polish? Um..hells yes! Wine! More, please! And then a little leopard print just to round it all out.
Oh man, it’s been so long since I posted any nail art! Try not to be shocked….but that is what I have for you today! I started with two coats of Enchanted Polish 2am Summer Night. I used Mundo de Unas Fiji to stamp this design from It Girl Plate IG 101 (which was originally sent to me as a press sample).
Thanks for stopping by today and thanks for still checking out my blog even though my posting isn’t on a daily schedule like it used to be! :) You’re the best!
Today’s post is for the weekly Crumpet’s Nail Tarts challenge. I’m supposed to post on Friday…but the week got away from me so here I am today. Better late than never?
This week’s prompt is Hot Pink and my assigned nail art technique is camo. I used Trust Fund Beauty Rude Nudes as my base color. Rude Nudes was sent to me as a press sample. It has a lovely formula and is really opaque, especially for such a light polish. I’m happy to report there are no visible nail lines! Keep scrolling for plain swatches.
I used a design from Vivid Lacquer Plate VL010 and Mundo de Unas Neon Pink to create the camo design.
Here are a couple swatches of Trust Fund Beauty Rude Nudes.
Woo hoo! It’s Friday!!! This mani is for the Crumpet’s Nail Tarts challenge. This week, our prompt is “music”. I started this mani with two coats of Zoya Willow which is a black creme. Then, I used Fairytale Finish Fairytale Castle which is a flakie glitter topper. Finally, I used Mundo de Unas White to stamp two designs from Pueen Plate 47.
Today’s mani starts with two coats of Trust Fund Beauty Hungober and Pretty which was originally sent to me as a press sample. Then, I used Mundo de Unas Lime to stamp this design from Cici&Sisi Plate 30.
Today’s mani starts with two coats of Trust Fund Beauty Naughty By Design which was originally sent to me as a press sample. Then, I used Mundo de Unas Fantasy to stamp this design from Cici&Sisi Plate 30.
Today’s mani starts with two coats of Pretty Serious Darkling Squishy which was originally sent to me as a press sample. Then, I used Mundo de Unas Neon Pink to stamp this design from Cici&Sisi Plate 30.
This mani starts with two coats of Pretty Serious Gloomy Kitty which was sent to me as a press sample. I used a design from the Pueen Celebration Collection Lace Blossom and Mundo de Unas White to stamp the design.
Today’s nail art starts with two coats of Pretty Serious Badlands Bandit which is a beautiful cobalt metallic. Then, I used It Girl Nail Art Plate IG109. Both of these were originally sent to me as press samples. The stamping polish is Mundo de Unas Lilac.
Hey! Don’t forget to enter my China Glaze giveaway!! There are only three days left at the time of this writing! You can’t win if you don’t play. ;)
Today’s nail art look is for this week’s Crumpet’s Nail Tarts challenge. The prompt this week is “animals.” I will admit that I really phoned it in this week. I had grand plans of creating colorful decals and everything…but I just couldn’t find the time. I’m starting my own business (dog training! Woohoo!!) and a lot of my time and resources are being driven toward getting that off the ground. So I hope you will forgive one of the laziest nail arts I’ve ever done. It doesn’t even look that great. (I’m not fishing for compliments here. I think this looks like ass.)
I started with Pretty Serious Nuke the Fridge which by itself is a gorgeous color. I’ll have a whole crapload of Pretty Serious swatches coming up soon. I just got a big box of press samples from them and I’m slowly making my way through it.
The stamping polish is Mundo de Unas Taupe and the zebra design is from Cici&Sisi Plate 26.
I know you’ve seen me use It Girl Nail Art plates a lot and actions speak louder than words. However, it’s been a while since I’ve actually mentioned how much I love her plates. The designs are well thought out and stamp reliably. What more could you want from a stamping plate? Plus, they are all sourced in the US. In fact, the owner took great pains to ensure she used responsible sourcing.
If you’re in the market for some nail plates, I hiiiiighly recommend checking out Nicole’s plates. They are well worth the money!
