Who doesn’t love a mermaid-inspired look? I started with two coats of Zoya Winnie which was originally sent to me as a press sample. Then, I used It Girl Emerald and It Girl IG119 to make the mermaid fin design.
I hope you enjoyed today’s Mermaid Nail Art look!
I have resolved to start going live more often in my Facebook group (found HERE) and since I’m pretty shameless, who knows what sort of antics I’ll get up to! :) Additionally, I’ll probably try whatever people ask me to try (you know…short of breaking the law) so feel free to come on over, hang out, and watch me make a complete moron of myself!
I haven’t gotten much into the thermal polish world but I decided to dive in and buy the mood-changing collection. Tonight I have for you Color Club Shine Theory including nail art and video! :O :O (OMG. It’s almost like I’m trying or something. gross.)
Shine Theory is NEON yellow when warm and a lovely light blue when cold.
I grabbed It Girl Pomelo Stamping Polish because it matched warm Shine Theory fairly closely. Then, I used a wavy design from It Girl Plate IG120 to stamp.
Then, when my nails get cold, the design shows up! :) :) :O
It’s getting warm so it’s the perfect weather for spending time on and around the water. But don’t get swept away by the currents! This anchor nail art will keep you nice a stable. :)Fun fact: When I was little, my parents always warned me about the “under toe.” (The current that goes the opposite direction and can suck you out to the ocean.) However, I thought they said “under TOAD” and I was petrified of these little toads grabbing my feet and kidnapping me.
Anyway…this mani starts with two coats of Zoya River from the Wanderlust Collection. The stamping polish is Konad White and the design is from the wonderful It Girl IG119
I have a tutorial video for you today! :O I have recently become obsessed with Wonder Woman. Yes, I know it’s super trendy right now but I couldn’t help myself. I went and saw the movie on opening weekend and fell in love. IN LOVE. So now I’m reading all the comics, watching the old TV show, and reading comics about the comics.
Obviously, I had to do some Wonder Woman nail art!
It’s a little-known fact that yellow and orange are my least favorite colors. And yet….and yet….I really love today’s Hawaiian nail art. I started with two coats of Zoya Sawyer (from the Wanderlust collection), I used It Girl Pomelo, and a design from an It Girl stamping plate.
Something about this mani is really working for me. I hope you like it, too!
Today’s mani reminds me of the 90’s. Which is perfect because a lot of 90’s stuff is apparently coming back in style! What’s old is new again…
This mani starts with two coats of China Glaze Sultry Solstice which was sent to me as a press sample from the Summer Reign collection. I used It Girl Pomelo which is a full-coverage yellow stamping polish! :O The design is from the new It Girl Plate IG117
Come hang out with me in my VIP group! I post things in there that I don’t post anywhere else! :) Including sometimes inappropriate things. :P
Hello, hello and happy Saturday! I have some more nail art just for you today. Why? Because you’re my favorite, that’s why!!! I started with two coats China Glaze Flame-Boyant from the new Summer Reign collection. This hot baby was originally sent to me as a press sample from China Glaze.
Then, I grabbed my Mundo de Unas Turquoise because teal/blue and red are like pretty awesome together. This design is from It Girl Plate IG 307.
If you have not tried It Girl stamping plates, then you need to get off my blog right now and get your ass over to her etsy store and get some. I promise you won’t regret. On the off chance that you do, she has the best customer service known to the nail world. But you won’t regret. So there you go. ;)
FUN FACT: I have a shitload of nail polish and I just need to get rid of some of it. Therefore, every LipSense order I get this week will have a surprise bottle of polish in it! :O All you need to do is leave a comment on this order form with your favorite polish color and I’ll include one in your package! So not only do you get to try the most freaking amazing lipstick ever, but you get free polish. Whaaaa?!?!?!!?
I did some nail art for you today! See? I’m not 100% lazy. Just mostly lazy. :) This nail art look starts with China Glaze Rose My Name which I got as a press sample from the Summer Reign collection. Then, I used It Girl Spearmint stamping polish and It Girl Plate IG308 for the stamped nail art.
I don’t really like today’s mani, but I’m going to show it to you anyway. Some people might like it and who am I to deprive you of viewing it? ;)Cosmeceuticals
The base for this mani is a Cosmeceuticals polish I got in the April Ipsy bag. I don’t know the name of it because I threw the box away! :O I didn’t realize the name wasn’t on the bottle. Note to makers: Always put your name on the bottle!
I was in Sally Beauty and saw this top coat from Seche that I’d never seen before: Seche Vive. It’s kinda like their UV-free gel topcoat. It works similarly to their regular topcoat. I didn’t notice much of a difference.
This stamping design is from It Girl Plate IG117 and I used It Girl Obsidian as the stamping polish.
Happy Friday Eve!! Today’s nail art starts with two coats of Zoya Tina which was originally sent to me as a press sample. Then, I used It Girl Marina stamping polish for this faux watermarble design from a Bundle Monster plate.
I’ve never been able to master real watermarbling, so I have to succumb to the cheater’s way. :) #lazybetty right?
Hello, hello! How about a little nail art today? I feel like I haven’t shown you any nail art in forever!!! I’ve been SO busy with everything going on in my life that I’ve barely had time to make any nail art! But, I found this little gem in my drafts folder and thought “why not? Let’s give the people what they want!” (I’m assuming you want nail art. Hopefully you want nail art because that is what you’re getting today.)
I started with Orly Forget Me Not which is from the La La Land collection. This collection has a bit of a tricky formula, but if you think of it like a crelly, you will be a lot happier. :)
The stamping polish and plate are both from It Girl Nail Art: It Girl Coral and It Girl Plate IG305
Hello and happy Friday! I have the day off work today so I took my dog, Bandit, on a little walk. I didn’t realize how much I missed walking him since I fell off the wagon so long ago! He’s a great little walking buddy. :) Maybe I’ll take Kirby for a walk later, too!
Today’s mani starts with the red Louboutin Polish. I stamped using Konad Black and the lace design is from an It Girl Plate.
I used the GlitterDaze matte topcoat. I’ve been loving matte mani’s lately!
Good morning and happy Friday!! I started this mani with Sally Hansen Red-ience which was sent to me as a press sample. I used Konad Black to stamp this design from It Girl Plate IG116
In other news…If you’re local to the Seattle-Tacoma area, I’m looking for people to try LipSense for the first time. No pressure, I’m not going to ask you to buy it. I’m just looking for people who are willing to let me film their reactions. I’ll even buy the coffee! Hit me up if you’re interested.
Hello! Hello! Today’s mani uses Omega Pebbles as stamping polish. Out of the 5 I was sent, this one is probably the best stamper of the bunch. The base color is Omega Pacific Blue and the design is from It Girl Plate IG116.
Do you like it better glossy or matte??
Thanks for stopping by today! Leave me a comment so I’ll have something to read when I’m bored at work later. 😂
Good morning! Today’s mani starts with Omega Airey Fairy and then is stamped with Omega Too Hot to Trot! I’ve found that the Omega polishes I received as a sample all stamp quite nicely. :) This design is from It Girl Plate 116.
Don’t forget to join my VIP Facebook group! If I’m having sales, that’s where I announce it first. :)
Sinful Colors Kiss Goodnight was sent to me in the Influenster Fierce Vox Box, free of charge. This SinfulColors is part of the Kandee Johnson collection. She was one of the very first beauty bloggers I ever followed so I’m really happy to have one of her polishes in my collection!
For the nail art, I used It Girl Amethyst stamping polish with It Girl Plate IG116. If you haven’t tried It Girl yet, you really should. Nicole is absolutely the best.
Come hang out with my in my VIP Facebook group! Found here.
Today’s mani starts with two coats of Orly Big City Dreams which is from the La La Land collection. I used Mundo de Unas Metallic Purple to stamp these fun kaleidoscope style images from an It Girl Stamping Plate.
Here is a plain swatch of Big City Dreams. Some bloggers had issues with this collection being a little patchy. I found that if I thought about it like it was a crelly and not a creme, then I had a decent time applying it.
Today we’re getting our taxes done and I’m soooo scared. This is the first year where I’ll have to do taxes for my businesses (yes, plural!!) including self-employment stuff AND my day job stuff. The pile of paperwork is MASSIVE. And I’m sure I’m going to owe a lot. I’ve never owed before! I’ve always gotten at least a little something back!!!!! This is super stressing me out. No wonder people just pay someone to take care of all of this stuff. Taxes are, so far, the worst part about being a business owner!
This evening’s mani is one of my favorites that I’ve done in a long time. Let’s just say that I’m pretty pleased with myself for choosing to matte this look.
Here’s the look with a glossy topcoat. It’s pretty, but I definitely love it better matte. Which do you prefer?
This mani starts with two coats of Orly Head in the Clouds from the La La Land collection. I used Konad Red to stamp this design from a wonderful plate designed by It Girl Nail Art.
Here is a swatch of Orly Head in the Clouds. Many people have reported issues with the La La Land collection. However, I did not experience those problems. Some have said they’re streaky and need 3-4 coats. This is 2 coats in these photos. I found that if I thought of it like a crelly instead of a thick cream that it helped me apply it well.
Thanks for stopping by tonight! Leave me a note in the comments!
I’m still obsessed with It Girl’s new stamping plates. Today, I’m using It Girl Plate 306 to create a nude lace nail art look. I started with two coats of OPI Sweet Memories which is nearly identical to my natural nail’s look. Then, I used It Girl Alabaster white stamping polish to put on the lace design.
I really love how nice and delicate this turned out. Also, It Girl’s stamping polish is ah-maz-ing. Even with small, intricate patterns, you don’t lose any of the image during transfer. Also, it doesn’t stink to high heaven like other stamping polishes. I don’t know what witchcraft Nicole does to her stamping polishes, but it’s certainly working!
Here is a swatch of OPI Sweet Memories. As you can see, it barely even looks like I have polish on at all. It’s the perfect color for nude and negative space nail art.
Let me know what you think of today’s look in the comments!
