While Influenster sent this to me free of charge, all opinions and thoughts are my own.

Influenster sent me KISS lash adhesive, KISS lashes, Pure Ice French Kiss Polish, Cetaphil moisturizing creme, NYC black eyeliner…and more! Keep scrolling!

A coupon for a bag of free Ore-Ida potatoes, Hallmark Itty Bitty Olaf, and Biscoff biscuits.

The Hallmark Olaf Itty Bitty is so freakin’ cute! Frozen is one of my favorite movies of all time so I was pretty excited when I saw Olaf peeking up at me from the box!

Biscoff biscuits are delicious and addicting. On the weekends, I love having an afternoon cup of coffee…and now I simply must have a Biscoff biscuit with it! It’s the perfect little snack that goes great with a cup o’ joe!

The NYC black eyeliner, KISS Lashes, and KISS Adhesive glue are awesome. The NYC liner is one of the creamiest eyeliners I’ve tried in a while and I am now constantly reaching for it. The KISS lashes were easy to apply and lasted all day without any problems. I instantly had va-va-va-voom lashes!!

Cetaphil moisturizing creme has been part of my beauty arsenal since I was in high school. I have sensitive skin and Cetaphil always calms it down.

This little tub is perfect to throw in your purse for dry hand emergencies! I’m constantly applying hand lotion so this is perfect!

Thanks again to Influenster for sending me the Influenster Jingle VoxBox!!

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Vox Box!!! (Sally Hansen #CSMTKO)

I was lucky enough to receive a box full of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes courtesy of in exchange for my honest opinion. And…to be totally honest…I’m already a huge fan of Sally Hansen so this was a great treat for me.

I received three colors:
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Red My Lips #470
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Pat on the Black #510
Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Jaded #540

The brush shape for the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure is my favorite of every brush I’ve ever tried. (I own over 430 polishes!!) The square edges with the slight curve makes it very easy to get close to, but not touching the cuticle. I wish all brushes were shaped like this!

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Pat on the Black is actually a super dark purple. The formula for all three of these polishes is in between a cream and a jelly…aka a “crelly”. This one is two coats.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Red My Lips is a crelly candy-apple red. Formula was fantastic and the color is perfect for a classic red. This is two coat.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Jade is a crelly jade color. I did need three coats for this one due to the lightness of the color.

These polishes are a win-win-win. The color is great, the brush is the best, the formula is smooth and easy. If you paid $15+ for these polishes, you would say it’s totally worth it. But they are around $5!! I highly recommend Sally Hansen brand in general but the  #CSMTKO line is very, very well done.

Meaningful Beauty Crème de Serum Review

I receive Cindy Crawford Meaningful Beauty Serum from Influenster free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion.
I have been using this product for about three weeks now. You can see that I’m not even halfway done with the small bottle. I use a little more than a pea-sized amount to cover my whole face.

The first few nights I tried the serum, I forgot to put moisturizer on after! The reason why is because this serum is super moisturizing. I have noticed a slight improvement in my overall skin tone. I still broke out a little during a “certain week of the month”, but overall I do think this has improved my ski tone.

I might buy it when I run out but that decision will depend on the full cost of the product and if I think I might like other products in the Meaningful Beauty line. I would recommend trying this product for yourself. I have very sensitive skin (a lot of things will give me a rash) and this did not have an bad effects on my skin so that is very good news for other women in my same skin predicament!

Dr. Scholl’s Active Series Insoles

I received these Dr. Scholl’s Active Series Insoles complimentary from for my opinion and review.

I really, really wanted to like these. I’ve been very consistent this past year about exercising daily. I am up to over 5 miles per day, which I’m rather proud of. My heels had begun to cause me pain so I was hoping these Dr. Scholl’s Active Series Insoles would help alleviate that.

You’re supposed to completely take out the insoles that come standard with your shoes and replace them with the Dr. Scholl’s Active Series Insoles. Unfortunately, I threw my original insoles away.

The first walk I took in these, I thought they were just ok. They definitely didn’t make me go “Wow! It’s like I’m walking on clouds!”

After weeks of repeated use, my knees, shins, AND feet were all crying out in pain whenever I walked. At first, I just thought I was overdoing it. But then, I switched to some different running shoes. Pain gone. So the only thing I can imagine is that these Dr. Scholl’s Active Series Insoles were causing the pain in my legs! I start using them–pain starts. I stop using them–pain stops almost immediately. I’ve been back in my other running shoes for a week now and my knees, shins, and feet are still doing well.

Therefore, I can not recommend that you buy these insoles. I just recommend a good pair of running shoes!

Kiss Gradient Kit

I received this gold Kiss Gradient Kit courtesy of Kiss because I achieved a brand challenge on

I really like the idea of the kit, especially since gradients have been so popular lately. It was hard to achieve a smooth gradient because the instructions are just to use the brushes. I still think it looks pretty, though!

Step one is to apply two coats of the light metallic gold and let it dry. I actually really like this one on its own.

Step two is to apply one coat of the darker gold just to the top half of the nail. I also really like this gold and would wear it on its own.

Step three is to apply the gold glitter just to the top third of the nail. This one was a little harder as the glitters were hard to get out. They sit in a clear jelly base and I was just getting jelly! I ended up going over with the glitter twice to make sure it has some pop.

OK. So what’s the real story?
Well, today I was ready to find out!

What’s in the box? The nails (of course!), a teeny tiny nail file, and a “prep pad” which appears to just be an alcohol wipe.

These are the only directions available. They are on the outside of the box.

Here’s the front and back of the nails. You can see the little pull tab where you’ll peel off plastic, exposing the glue that will adhere them to your nail.

Here’s me trying to size the nails. Wait? What’s that? My nail is showing?? WTF! This isn’t going to work! Wait, maybe there is a bigger one. What? This is the biggest one? You have to be kidding me!

Just for fun, here’s a shot of my plain old stained nail. My nails are NOT long. I barely have any white showing.

Let’s try again. OMG! It’s still not working!

Ok. So I will admit that I have deep cuticle beds but I still think these are ridiculously short. Not a single nail was long enough. My natural nails are not that long and I’m not willing to file them way down just for the sake of this silly fake nail.

So the verdict is…..Fail!

Tasty Kake Kandy Bar Kakes Reese’s Review

I received a TastyKake bar courtesy of I received it free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion of the product. To see everything I received in my box, please click here.

I received the Reese’s flavor which couldn’t have been more perfect for me, as I freakin’ love Reese’s.

First impressions: Really high in fat and carbs. I’ve been losing weight (78lbs so far! E-High Five!) so this was a major turnoff. Out of my allotted daily food intake, this would be 30% of everything I can eat in a day. WAY too much. So I thought, “This better be f-ing delicious!”

After dinner, I ripped this baby open. Second impression: It does not look that appetizing. This photo is from the freshly opened package. I haven’t even touched it yet. Doesn’t it look a little dry and old?

I decided to dive right in.

I liked how the frosting on the outside was crunchy. That was pleasant. However, the chocolate cake on the inside was extremely dry. There is a layer of peanut butter inside (aka why it’s called Reese’s flavor!) but it was a measly, barely noticeable layer. I could barely taste the peanut butter.

Look–You can hardly even see it! And, doesn’t it look super dry? Well your eyes do not deceive you, dear reader. It IS Super dry.

Verdict: I will not be purchasing TastyKakes. It is not nearly delicious enough to warrant taking up 30% of what I can eat in a day! I’d rather have a real piece of cake or a real Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. You may like this product if you’re not trying to lose weight and you’re craving a fast sugar fix, but honestly, there are way better things on the marker. Sorry, TastyKake! You’re not for me!
