Halloween Nail Art!

{Purchased By Me}{Affiliate Links}

Happy Halloween!!! Today’s nail art uses stamping from the 2014 Cici&Sisi Halloween stamping plate. For my base color, I used Zoya Raven and then I Love Nail Polish Glory (which is a lovely autumnal flakie.) My stamping polish was Mundo de Unas Black.

I Love Nail Polish It’s a Boy for GOT

Happy Thursday! It’s Golden Oldies Thursday!!! This week’s prompt is Indie polish so I picked one of my favorites, I Love Nail Polish (aka ILNP). I started with two coats of I Love Nail Polish Pixie Dust which is a light pink holo. Then, I painted one coat of I Love Nail Polish It’s a Boy over the whole nail. Finally, I sponged even more of It’s a Boy on the tips to give it a stronger gradient effect. I would like to dedicate this mani to my sister who is pregnant and due in December. She refuses to find out the gender which is driving me batty!! She wants it to be a surprise! ARGH! So we have a baby blue and a baby pink mani for you today. :P

I Love Nail Polish Cygnus Loop meets Pixie Dust

I haven’t used any I Love Nail Polish brand nail polish in ages and it kinda seems like a crime since the name of the brand pretty much describes my entire life. I grabbed two of my favorites – ILNP Cygnus Loop and ILNP Pixie Dust for this mani. Oh, and I grabbed hot pink rhinestones. Because pink. Because rhinestones. Need I say more?

I started off with two coats of I Love Nail Polish Pixie Dust. This is a light pink linear holo. If I could only wear one finish for the rest of my life, it would be holo, no contest.

Fail Friday: Barbie Decals

For today’s Fail Friday, I started with one coat of Milani Pink Rocks! then one coat of I Love Nail Polish Blow Pop…and repeated for a jelly-ish sandwich. Then, I used Barbie Pueen decals to jazz it up even more. And that’s where things went terribly wrong! I should have stopped before the decals. On my middle finger, it looks like Barbie is sitting on a toilet!! LOL! Sometimes with nail art…less is more!

Butterfly Wing Mani

For this mani, I was inspired by a stamping plate created by Vivid Lacquer. It’s plate VL004 and it has a butterfly wing design on it.
From pinkie to pointer, I used:
I Love Nail Polish My Little Glacier
I Love Nail Polish Cygnus Loop
I Love Nail Polish Birefringence
I Love Nail Polish Mutagen

For the black stamping, I used Konad Black and for the dots, I used Sally Hansen White On.

Julep Leslie and ILNP Candy Apples and Razors

Today I have on two coats of Julep Leslie which is a creme black with silver micro-shimmer. Then, one coat of ILNP Candy Apples and Razors which is one of my favorite ILNP’s concoctions. It’s red and silver fractured flakies. It’s very cool!

It was very easy to get this great coverage in one coat with ILNP Candy Apples and Razor. I’m impressed!

ILNP Blow Pop and Revlon Raspberry Rapture

I was meandering through the grocery store and came across a Revlon display with $3 off coupons. Since their polishes are $4.99, I couldn’t help myself! What a great deal! So I bought Raspberry Rapture which is one of their scented polishes. (I can’t help myself. I like the scents!)

Then, I decided to layer ILNP Blow Pop over it. Blow Pop has purple and blue shimmers. I just did one layer because I wasn’t in the mood for a glitter bomb. I must say, this is one striking glitter polish, though!

China Glaze Mahogany Magic and I Love Nail Polish Animal Cookie

For this mani, I started with two coats of China Glaze Mahogany Magic which is from last year’s Hunger Games collection. It’s a dark brown creme. Of course I had to start with this one because I was layering I Love Nail Polish Animal Cookie on top! My fingers looked like delicious cookies! The only bad thing was that I was craving animal crackers all day. :P
