Purple Nail Art

{Purchased by Me}{Affiliate Links}

Today’s mani starts with two coats of Enchanted Polish November 2015 which is a freaking gorgeous holo purple. I used Konad Pastel Purple to stamp this faux watermarble from the Bundle Monster plate that was designed by blogger Sloteazzy.

I really like this stamping plate and would recommend getting it – even if I did smudge my pointer finger!

Cici&Sisi Christmas Plate Nail Art (That’s not Christmasy)

{Won by Me}{Affiliate Links}

I won four polishes in a recent Digital Dozen giveaway. This is one of them! This is Glitter Daze Boo, You Whore from the Mean Girls inspired collection. This is a beautiful, shimmery hot pink. I used two thin coats for full coverage. I also got my new Cici&Sisi Christmas plate in the mail! But it’s too soon for holiday art! Luckily, there was this lovely bow and this lovely swirly design on it. These are both from the holiday plate, but this isn’t a holiday mani! Hooray! I used Bundle Monster black to stamp.

Here is a swatch of Glitter Daze Boo, You Whore before I started playing around with nail art.

Blue and Pink Nail Art

{Press Sample}{Affiliate Links}

Hello! Thanks for coming by today. I hope your weekend is going super great! Today’s blue and pink nail art starts with two coats of Mango Bunny Polish Pinkie Sense (which I originally received as a press sample) which is from their My Little Pony collection. I spotted this scalloped design on this Cici&Sisi stamping plate collection and used Bundle Monster Blue to stamp with.

I love the girliness of how this turned out. Obviously, I love pink but I also really love how it looks with this darker blue.

HPB Oct. Halloween Mani Link-Up: Graveyard Nail Art

I am a member of the Hobby Polish Bloggers Facebook group! It’s a great resource to get ideas and help troubleshoot with other bloggers! Today’s nail art is part of our new monthly linkup post!

I started with Sally Hansen Wax Poetic which I think is limited edition….at least it was in a special display at the store! It dried quickly and into a gorgeous matte/wax finish. Then, I used the special Cici&sisi Halloween plate to stamp different graveyard nail art designs on each nail. I used Bundle Monster Black as my stamping polish.

First, here’s a shot of Wax Poetic all on its own. I really love the look of this!

French Spiderweb Nail Art

Ready for some more Halloween nail art?? For this mani, I started with two coats of Sally Hansen Cinna-snap which I think is from their limited edition Halloween collection. I then taped off the tips and used Sally Hansen Scaredy Matte which is for sure from the limited edition collection. Finally, I used the spiderweb design from Cici&Sisi Plate 01 and Bundle Monster White to create this design.

First, here’s a swatch of Cinna-Snap all on its own. It is a creamy, vampy blood-like color. Perfect for the season.

Halloween Bats Nail Art!

It’s time for more Halloween nail art! This one features bats!! The base of this mani is Enchanted Polish La La Land, which I swatched for you here. Then, I used the new Cici&Sisi Halloween plate. The images on this plate are quite large, but there are a lot of them that can still work. I used Bundle Monster Black for stamping. I also finally got my Messy Mansion stamper set in the mail. I used a medium firmness for this mani and I’m very happy with the stamping results. The images are very crisp. I did have to wipe the stamper with acetone after every nail, but it was worth it for the crispness I got.

Halloween Nail Art – Sweater Weather

I’ve been waiting and waiting for Fall to get here so I could use my Vivid Lacquer plate VL025 which has a ton of cute sweater patterns on it! I started with two coats of Pistol Polish Fire Away which is a brownish orange crelly. Then, I used Bundle Monster Black to stamp the design on top. Lastly, no sweater is complete without buttons! I have a lot of rhinestones left from my press sample from the Born Pretty Store! I originally reviewed the nail art studs for you here.

Bow Nail Art

For today’s bow nail art, I started with two coats of Finger Paints Queen for a Night which is from their Masquerade Affair Collection. I used a Silver Bundle Monster stamping polish to stamp a design from a Cici&Sisi Plate. I’m still working on getting design perfectly straight. At least they’re not at 45 degree angles anymore! Haha! Now they’re just off about 10 degrees so I’m almost there!

Aztec Nail Art for GOT

Today’s Golden Oldies Thursday prompt is Burnt Orange/Copper. I selected China Glaze Harvest Moon which is from the 2012 Hunger Games Collection. I don’t think I’ve used it since 2012!! Good to know that nail polish doesn’t expire. ;) I’m obsessed with my Cici&Sisi stamping plates so I picked an image from plate 10 for this mani. I used my blue Bundle Monster Stamping Polish to stamp the design on top.  I didn’t think it was going to become Aztec Nail Art, but I kind of think that the design with the colors I picked looks a little Aztec-y. You might disagree, but that’s what it reminds me of!

Here’s a plain swatch of China Glaze Harvest Moon. It’s a very nice orange-y copper. It’s held up very well over the years. I didn’t even need to put any thinner in it or anything.

Pink and Silver Flowers – MoYou Suki Collection

Hi! For today’s mani, I started with two coats of Rain City Lacquer Heart Warming which is a light reddish pink holo polish. This is the first Rain City polish I tried and I’m pretty impressed! After it was dry, I used Bundle Monster Silver Stamping Polish and MoYou Suki Collection Plate 07 to stamp the flower  designs on top.

Patriotic Mani – Fingerfood Theme Buffet!

This mani is for the 4th of July obviously. :) It’s also for Fingerfood’s Theme Buffet prompt for Sunday which is “Patriotic”! I’m posting this early so you can view it on the 4th if you like as well. :) Hopefully people outside of the USA can appreciate it as well! I started with two coats of China Glaze Ruby Slipper which is just an amazing polish and I think everyone should own it. After it was dry, I taped off the tips and applied China Glaze Dorothy Who? to make a french mani…which I didn’t realize the irony until I was taking the pictures! LOL! Finally, I used Bundle Monster plate BM21 and Bundle Monster White Stamping polish to create the star designs.

First, we need to look at China Glaze Ruby Pumps in all its glittery gloriousness.

Walking Through Dust

Happy Wednesday!!! I hope your week is going well. :) For today’s mani, I have OPI DS Lapis which is wickedly gorgeous. Then, I used my white Bundle Monster Stamping Polish and MoYou Artist Collection Plate 08 to stamp this frame design on my nails. Unfortunately, they’re a bit crooked. I was super distracted by Doctor Who and was not paying 100% attention. Oopsies! No spoilers, please! I’m only on Season 3 episode 3!!! :)

Here’s a plain swatch of OPI DS Lapis.  It naturally dries to a somewhat textured, matte finish. It’s gorgeous on its own, no top coat required. But, I will show you it glossy later, just make sure you’re wearing a hat because it’s going to blow your mind. (The hat is to keep all your head bits together when your mind is blow…)

Sally Hansen Pink Boa and Bundle Monster Stamping Polish

As you know, I take part in many nail art challenge groups. They help me reach outside of my comfort zone. I’ve created some of my favorite nail art during these challenges – and some of my least favorite. ;) Two have converged on the same day!! Today, I have Crumpet’s Nail Tarts Golden Oldies Thursday and Challenge Your Nail Art. So I decided to extra challenge myself and try to make a mani that applies to both! Luckily for me, this week’s GOT challenge is ‘free choice’. So that just means whatever I do for the other one, needs to use polish I haven’t used in over a year. The prompt for Challenge Your Nail Art is “bright colors”. I grabbed Sally Hansen Pink Boa. This is one of the first polishes I ever owned. I believe I bought it in late 2011. Then, I decided to use my new Bundle Monster Stamping Polish #17 which is a nice silver color. I stamped with MoYou Artist Collection Plate 08.

First, we need to appreciate Sally Hansen Pink Boa all in its pink glory.

FingerFood’s Theme Buffet – Cartoon or Comic Book Nails

This is my first  time participating in FingerFood’s Theme Buffet. This theme is cartoon or comic book nails. I grabbed my trusty MoYou Comics Collection Plate 03 for this mani because it has wonderful comic book scenes on it. I started with two coats of OPI DS Radiance which is a gorgeous chrome. You can see other polishes from this line here and here. I am obsessed with this collection. Then, I used Bundle Monster #13 which is their black stamping polish. This is the first time I used a Bundle Monster stamping polish and I think it worked quite well. I got this set off Amazon. It arrived super fast. Faster than expected! This is always good for nail art because you know…immediate gratification and all!

First, here is the wonderful OPI DS Radiance swatched for you.

After it dried (with HK Girl Top Coat of course), I used the Bundle Monster Polish with my MoYou plate to create this story / design.
