This mani is Color Street Casa Batllo. As soon as I put this one on, I knew it was going to be one of my all-time favorite designs. I wore this one for over a week – which is an eternity for me. I freaking love it.
I’ve been getting a lot of questions lately about how the removal process is with Color Street wraps. Since these wraps are made of real nail lacquer, the removal process is just like it is with traditional polish! :O :O In other words, all you need is cotton balls and polish remover. :)
I know that with other nail wraps, you need a hammer and a chisel to get them off. Don’t worry. That is completely not the case with Color Street! I plan on doing a video of it soon so I can prove how easy it is, but until then, don’t worry about destroying your nails with these. They last a long time but are also easy to remove! Win-win!
Color Street Moulin Rouge is not going to make it to my favorites list, but it certainly is pretty. I’ve done a few long-style nail art similar to this because I like the lacey look. (Long-style as in I do the art myself and it’s not #cheaterstrips) I really like the look of black lace on red. I think it’s it’s kind of daring and sexy. I can’t quite put my finger on it (hahahahaha) as to why this wouldn’t be in my top 5 favorites. I think maybe it’s because I have so many Color Street designs that I love even MORE.
On this fine Monday morning, I’m wearing Color Street Hollywood Kiss! This is a hot pink french mani look. French manicures with Color Street are so freaking easy and I still can’t get over the fact that there is no dry time. This is the fastest french mani I’ve done in my entire freaking life. It might be the fastest ever in the history of mankind.

OMG. I am so excited about this. One of my Facebook fans had the idea of stamping on top of Color Street nail wraps before you put them on your nails. (I tried stamping the traditional way in this post.) If stamping on top of the wraps before putting them on your nails works…then you will NEVER HAVE TO CLEAN UP AGAIN.
That’s right. You heard me. All those “cleanup shamers” in the polish groups who criticize your accuracy….well…this solves all of that!
I decided to try one of the Color Street patterns that I thought was a little too ‘grandma’ for my taste. Today, that design is Rose Path.
The metallic accents liven this up a bit and gives it a youthful flair, but I still think those flowers look like my grandmother’s couch. I like that there are solid silver metallic wraps in this pack to break up the roses.
Ah shit. I just had the coolest idea. I should have stamped some skulls and crossbones on the solid silver ones. That nail art would have been a cool juxtaposition between grandmas and punk.
I guess I better order another set! LOL.
What would YOU do on the solid silver nails to youthen this up a bit??
(Yes, youthen is a word. I just made it one.)
If you order this set and do an awesome manicure with it, make sure to come show it off in my private Facebook group! :D
Today, I’m going to show you Color Street Alpine Freeze. This is a silver glitter with art-deco purple and black lines. This is something I probably could have made with striping tape, but it would have taken 4-evah.
Since this is glitter, it removes the same way glitter nail polish does. (Which makes sense because Color Street is made with real nail lacquer and not like plastic or something like other nail wraps.) Anyway…here’s the technique I use to remove nail polish. (Click here.)
Color street is buy 3 get 1 free. Most people can get two manicures out of one set of strips. Each set comes with 16 nails but if your nails are short enough then you can use one strip with two nails. My nails are short enough to do this and my nails wouldn’t be considered “short.”
The longest I’ve worn a set of these Color Street nail wraps is a full week. They actually still looked great by the end of the week, but I wanted to sport a new mani. :)
As you know by now, I’ve been using a ton of Color Street nail wraps. Well, I wanted to see if I could actually do nail art on top of them. I picked Color Street French Riviera because it’s a lovely blue to silver glitter ombre. I thought it would look pretty underneath a black line stamping design.
I chose Cici&Sisi Plate 13 and Konad Black as my stamping supplies. The awesome thing about this technique is it really cuts down on the time it takes to do some nail art because you don’t have to wait for the base color to dry!! This is going to be a huge time saver for me, yet I still get to be creative and do my favorite nail art technique!! I used Seche Vite to seal in the nail art. It works well on the Color Street wraps as a base because they’re actually made of real polish so they don’t act weird under other nail polish stuff.
Here is what Color Street French Riviera looked before I did nail art on top. It’s a lovely glitter look.
Today I’m going to show you Color Street Southwest Dream. This design is inspired by the turquoise jewelry that is common in the Southwest. The finish is a gorgeous shimmer. Normally, polishes with this vibrant of a teal color would stain my nails. I’m so glad I don’t have to worry about that with Color Street. I still have stains on my nails from polishes I used months ago! :O
Color Street is buy 3 get 1 free for all nail art and solid designs. If you have any questions about how easy these are to use, pop me a comment!
Today I’m going to show you Color Street Crossroads! Color Street can help you get a super-fast, gorgeous mani so you don’t feel like you’re spending all your free time at your nail art desk! Oh, and did I mention it’s pretty chip-resistant, too?!
Color Street is made of real nail polish so it removes just as easily as nail polish. That way, you don’t feel like you’re ruining your nails when you want to change your mani!
Good evening, y’all! Tonight I’m going to wear Color Street Florentine Mosaic. I’ve had me eye on this design for a few weeks but I was waiting for a special occasion! Well, today is my husband’s birthday and we’re having a big get-together tomorrow. I figured it was finally the time to pull out these bad boys!
These are glitter nail wraps from Color Street which are buy 3 get 1 free! :O
Let’s hear your thoughts. Pop me a comment in the old comment section!
I have another gorgeous Color Street manicure to show you today. The polka dots go well with my new branding! LOL. This mani is called Color Street Sakura Festival. After doing this mani, I still have four wraps left which means I can still use these as accent nails in other manicures or on my toes! :O All you have to do is store them in an airtight container to keep them from drying out.
What do you think of today’s Color Street manicure? All designs are buy 3 get 1 free so you can be set for the whole month or longer!
Today I’m going to show you a new Color Street Wraps design and I’m going to show you proof as to why I love them so much more than other wraps.
The application instructions for all brands are the same – Press on to the nail and file off the excess. It really can’t get much more simple than that. Some brands say you can get better results if you get the wraps warm first. Otherwise, the instructions are the same across the board….But the results of the different brands tell another story.
On the left is another brand of nail wraps. I’ve had a lot of practice with wraps and the one on the left is a pain in the ass. It doesn’t sit flat on my super curved nails. It puckers at the apex and at the edges. I can barely even wear them.
On the right are the Color Street Wraps in Mauna Loa. As you can see, there is NO pucker; it’s completely flat against my nail, even at the edges. I didn’t use a heating device or anything. No top coat or basecoat needed. It is so easy-peasy-mac-and-cheesy.
I haven’t gotten much into the thermal polish world but I decided to dive in and buy the mood-changing collection. Tonight I have for you Color Club Shine Theory including nail art and video! :O :O (OMG. It’s almost like I’m trying or something. gross.)
Shine Theory is NEON yellow when warm and a lovely light blue when cold.
I grabbed It Girl Pomelo Stamping Polish because it matched warm Shine Theory fairly closely. Then, I used a wavy design from It Girl Plate IG120 to stamp.
Then, when my nails get cold, the design shows up! :) :) :O
It’s getting warm so it’s the perfect weather for spending time on and around the water. But don’t get swept away by the currents! This anchor nail art will keep you nice a stable. :)Fun fact: When I was little, my parents always warned me about the “under toe.” (The current that goes the opposite direction and can suck you out to the ocean.) However, I thought they said “under TOAD” and I was petrified of these little toads grabbing my feet and kidnapping me.
Anyway…this mani starts with two coats of Zoya River from the Wanderlust Collection. The stamping polish is Konad White and the design is from the wonderful It Girl IG119
I have a tutorial video for you today! :O I have recently become obsessed with Wonder Woman. Yes, I know it’s super trendy right now but I couldn’t help myself. I went and saw the movie on opening weekend and fell in love. IN LOVE. So now I’m reading all the comics, watching the old TV show, and reading comics about the comics.
Obviously, I had to do some Wonder Woman nail art!
Today’s mani reminds me of the 90’s. Which is perfect because a lot of 90’s stuff is apparently coming back in style! What’s old is new again…
This mani starts with two coats of China Glaze Sultry Solstice which was sent to me as a press sample from the Summer Reign collection. I used It Girl Pomelo which is a full-coverage yellow stamping polish! :O The design is from the new It Girl Plate IG117
Come hang out with me in my VIP group! I post things in there that I don’t post anywhere else! :) Including sometimes inappropriate things. :P
Hello, hello and happy Saturday! I have some more nail art just for you today. Why? Because you’re my favorite, that’s why!!! I started with two coats China Glaze Flame-Boyant from the new Summer Reign collection. This hot baby was originally sent to me as a press sample from China Glaze.
Then, I grabbed my Mundo de Unas Turquoise because teal/blue and red are like pretty awesome together. This design is from It Girl Plate IG 307.
If you have not tried It Girl stamping plates, then you need to get off my blog right now and get your ass over to her etsy store and get some. I promise you won’t regret. On the off chance that you do, she has the best customer service known to the nail world. But you won’t regret. So there you go. ;)
FUN FACT: I have a shitload of nail polish and I just need to get rid of some of it. Therefore, every LipSense order I get this week will have a surprise bottle of polish in it! :O All you need to do is leave a comment on this order form with your favorite polish color and I’ll include one in your package! So not only do you get to try the most freaking amazing lipstick ever, but you get free polish. Whaaaa?!?!?!!?
