For this mani, I did two coats of Color Club Blue-Ming which, despite its name, has a lot of green in it. It looks bluer in the pics but in real life, it’s more of a seafoam color.
Then, I did one coat of ILNP Don’t Trample My Roses which is a green and pink glitter.
Here is another one from my recent I Love Nail Polish Haul. This teal beauty is called Little Mermaid. First, I did two coats of Zoya Yummy and then one coat of Little Mermaid.
It is super glittery! It’s like my fingertips were a disco ball. Aka…AWESOME!
Julep Jackie is from the April Maven Box, Classic with a Twist. She is a great orange/red that is very classic. However, she looks exactly like at least two other polishes I own (one is Julep January!) so I’ll probably be giving her to a friend. But, that doesn’t mean she’s not a keeper! :)
Julep Avery is from the April Maven Box, Classic with a Twist. It’s a hot, neon pink which is fitting since neon is supposed to be trendy right now. I really liked this color and as expected with a Julep polish, the application was easy.
I received Station’s Love at First Byte in the April 2013 Ipsy MyGlam Bag. I have to say, I really hate this polish. I don’t even think I’ve said that before! It is so unflattering on me! It could look good on someone but I couldn’t bear to have this on my nails more than the minute it took to take a picture! Ugly ugly ulgy! It reminds me of what my nails look like after they’ve become stained with nail polish (usually from reds and blues). Who wants that?
I really like today’s mani! I started with two coats of Julep Taylor which is a dark periwinkle creme. Then, I did one coat of I Love Nail Polish Cheshire Blues (an indie brand) that is a glitter with pink hearts, silver hexes, and more!
For this mani, I started with two coats of China Glaze Mahogany Magic which is from last year’s Hunger Games collection. It’s a dark brown creme. Of course I had to start with this one because I was layering I Love Nail Polish Animal Cookie on top! My fingers looked like delicious cookies! The only bad thing was that I was craving animal crackers all day. :P
Here is the last swatch for the China Glaze Hologlam collection. I had a feeling that this one was going to be the best and I was right! It’s a gorgeous fuchsia that is somewhat reminiscent ManGlaze F#ck Off and Die. (Those of you that don’t know about ManGlaze, you should check it out! It’s amazing polish!)
This one is not as holographic as some of the ones I swatched first but it’s a beautiful color and would worth picking up.
This is the eleventh in the China Glaze Hologlam collection. This one is called Strap on Your Moonboots. It’s the least holographic one in the entire collections and I can’t even say that I like it very much. It looks like a shimmery dark blue-gray color. I wish there was more holo in this one.
So far, this is my total favorite from the China Glaze Hologlam collection. This one is Astro-Hot and is a light purple-pink. It’s freakin’ gorgeous!
And today we have the next ‘installment’ of the China Glaze Hologlam collection. This beauty is When Stars Collide. It’s a dark purple holo (of course) that is very pretty.
Here is another swatch from the China Glaze Hologlam collection. This is one of my favorites so far because it has one of the best holo effects.
China Glaze Take a Trek is another from the Hologlam collection. This one is a dark slate blue.
Here is another swatch from the China Glaze Hologlam collection. This one is Get Outta My Space and is a nice lilac purple.
Here is the fourth installment of the new China Glaze Hologlam collection. This little star is called Cosmic Dust and soooo amazing! The holo is outta control. So far, this one is my favorite of the 4 I’ve tried.
Here is the fourth swatch from the new China Glaze Hologlam Collection. This one is a coral-pink whose holo effect has a lot of purple. It’s amaaaazing!
Here’s the next swatch I’m going to show you from the awesome China Glaze Hologlam collection. Today, we have Sci-Fly By which is a silver/light blue. This one has a lot more holo effect than the one I showed you yesterday (Don’t Be a Luna-Tic).
The one con I’ve noticed about the two I’ve tried so far is that they show every imperfection in your nail. I have bumps and ridges and if you’re staring at your nails (which you will with these colors on!) then you’re going to notice them more. However, it’s not going to be like some stranger is sitting across from you thinking, “WTF Is wrong with her nails?!” So I think it’ll be ok. :)
Let me set the mood…it’s a dark and stormy Northwest evening. My husband is playing Call of Duty. I’m bored. I decide that I need to go to Sally Beauty to get at least one of the new China Glaze Hologlam collection. I bribe my husband with promises of also going to GameStop. He falls for it. As I’m walking up to Sally Beauty, there is a sign. A sign that must be too good to be true…Buy two, get one free!
I am the luckiest girl in the world! :) They only had 9 of the 12 in the collection, so I’ll have to stalk Amazon or something to find them. Can’t have an incomplete collection, now can I??
Here are teaser pics of all the bottles and I put on Don’t Be a Lunatic. It’s amazing. :P

And for our first guy, Don’t be a Luna-Tic. This is a gorgeous silver/light green. There have been some people on the internet complaining that these aren’t holo-enough. I think that this first one is wonderful! And, it was the least impressive in the bottle so that’s why I did it first. I am one happy camper!
I was in a polka dot mood today. I started with China Glaze No Plain Jane (From the Bohemian Collection) and dotted it with China Glaze Deviantly Daring (also from the Bohemian Collection). This was my first time using my new dotting tool, so not all of them look good, but it was fun to play!
Sally Hansen Calypso Blue is a great spring color to wear. It’s a nice ocean blue that looks great with almost any outfit!
This is one of my favorite blues in my collection: Orly Royal Navy. It’s a beautiful cobalt blue with light gold shimmer.
ManGlaze is one of my favorite polish brands. All of their colors are amazing. They are all meant to dry matte but they also are awesome with a glossy top coat. Here is ManGlaze Cabron in both its natural matte form and with a shiny topcoat. It’s a deep purple with microshimmers and it’s gorgeous!
Julep Debra is the second polish I received in the March 2013 Classic with a Twist Maven Box. I wasn’t very excited about this one. It’s just a creme gray, of which I have three or four already. So nothing special to report but here is how it looks:
Julep Simone was in the March 2013 Classic with a Twist Maven Box. It’s a pastel lilac. It looks pearlescent in the bottle but I do not see the effect on my nails. A little disappointing!
