Here’s a first holiday mani of the season! I don’t like to start doing them too early. :)
I started with two coats of Zoya Shawn and then topped it off with one coat of the indie Vivid Lacquer Notebook paper. I like how it turned out. I think it’s seasonal without being over-the-top Christmas. I hope you like it, too!
This mani uses three polishes to make a funky take on the classic french manicure.
First, I put two coats of Julep Juliette which is a white milky polish.
Next, two layers of the indie polish Vivid Lacquer Black Widow.
Lastly, I taped off the tips and did one coat of Julep Leslie which is a black with micro shimmer.
Here is Maybelline Color Show Magenta Mirage over Sally Hansen Black Out. This is a beautiful magenta that is very vivid and pigmented. I am excited to try it over a lot of different colors.
In other news, my car is having trouble starting. I hate car troubles! It’s one of those problems where you really just feel helpless and stranded! Fingers crossed that the repairs will be inexpensive!
Thanks for stopping by!
Here is a swatch of Andrea’s Choice Circus Tightrope that I was going to post on my old blog before all my pictures got deleted. (That was a sad, sad day.) It’s really a purple, but in some lights, looks hot pink. It is very pretty. I got it in a previous Ipsy MyGlam Bag.
Welcome to my new blog! I’m excited you’re here.
To start us off, I did a starry night mani. The base color is Julep Eloise and the glitters are from Vivid Lacquer’s handmade polish, Wish Upon a Star. You can check her shop out on Etsy.
In other news, I’m excited for next week because I get a lot of days off work. Hooray! Thanks for stopping by. :)
