Seche Premier Colour Review

[Purchased by Me}

I was at Sally Beauty Supply and saw the Seche Premier Color collection, which I had never seen before. Since it was a buy 2, get 1 free sale, I decided to grab some colors, the base coat, and the top coat.

The base coat is really weird and isn’t really a base coat at all. It seems to be more of a prep step than an actual basecoat.

Seche Intrepid is my favorite of the colors I got. It’s a bright pink with a blue flame shift to it.

Seche Alter Ego had a pretty thin formula, but it was opaque in two coats. I’m not a huge fan of the brush. The shape and stiffness made it hard for me to get a clean cuticle line.

Seche Diamond Dust is a microglitter holo topper. I think I might be slightly obsessed with holo toppers. I’m wearing it here over Alter Ego.seche-diamond-dust seche-diamond-dust-swatch

Seche Candid is a red jelly with red microglitters.

The formulas are a bit thin for my liking. As I mentioned above, the brush made it rather difficult to apply. Also, these chipped CRAZY fast on me. Like within hours-especially when I used the “base coat” that’s part of the collection. When I wore Candid, I used the Seche “base coat” but also used my go-to Orly Bonder. This made the polish last much longer.

The Sealant top coat doesn’t dry as fast as the normal Seche Vite that we all know and love. It also doesn’t increase wear time. If anything, it caused things to chip faster.

The collection has some gorgeous colors, but with a thin formula, bad brush, and quick chips, I can’t say that I recommend this collection at all. Seche has some work to do before they can content with the other mainstream polish lines!
