OPI Colorpaints Review

{Purchased By Me}

As you may have noticed, I picked up the entire OPI Colorpaints collection. You’re ‘supposed’ to use these jelly-like polishes over the OPI Silver Canvas polish. I wanted to see if that was really necessary or if we nail-addicts could get a little more creative.

From left to right, I used OPI Alpine Snow, OPI Silver Canvas, OPI Who You Calling Bossy?, and Orly Dazzle.

The colorpaint color I used was OPI Magenta Muse.opi-color-paints-review

The colorpaint really took on a life of its own over each polish! These look like four completely different polishes. This is good news for folks who have been hesitating on this collection. The versatility of these babies is endless! They are more opaque than a traditional jelly polish, but they are still great for toppers and leadlighting like I did in this post, here. They also watermarble well, like I showed here.

They don’t have that classic jelly squishiness finish which means you obviously need both jellies AND colorpaints in your collection!!
