Purple and Gold Striping Tape Nail Art

Today’s mani is the day where I get to pose with awkward bottles! Hooray! Awkwardness! For this mani, I used Nicole by OPI Feeling Very Cherry which I got in last month’s Ipsy bag. I also used Ciate Ladylike Luxe which I received in a polish swap on Facebook.

First, let’s look at some plain swatches of these two fall beauties.

Ciate Ladylike Luxe is a shimmery gold shade. This is two coats. I’m not sure I 100% like this gold on me, but the quality is fantastic.

Nicole by OPI Feeling Very Cherry looks black, but it’s actually a suuuuuuuupeeeeerrrr dark purple. And it’s perfect for this time of year! This is two coats.

And now let’s look at some striping tape art!

It had been a while since I did any striping tape nail art since I’ve been obsessed with stamping latelly, including writing my Nail Art 101 series. So today I thought it was high time I dusted off the old striping tape and give it a go again!
