Sephora Give Me More Lip

I treated myself this month and got the Sephora Give Me More Lip set. It has 17 lip product mini’s! I love lip products almost as much as I love nail polish. Too bad lip products go bad! This would be the perfect gift for any makeup fanatic. It would also be wonderful for someone just learning about makeup because it would give them a lot of colors and formulas to try out.

For your reference, here are my lips without any product on them.

Bite Lipstick in Palomino

Bite Palomino is a hot pink creme lipstick. This is very full coverage. The formula is smooth and applies really well.

Benefit Posie Balm

Posie Balm is from the Posie-Tint family. This is very smooth and easy to apply. It’s quite sheer and really is just a subtle tint that gives your lips a healthy glow.

Makeup Forever Lipliner Aqua Lip 3C

This lipliner from makeup forever applied very easily. This will be a great nude liner for me!

Stila Nude Lipgloss

This Stila Stay All Day Lip Gloss in Nude is a beautiful nude. The formula is definitely on the sticky side, which is not my favorite. It is also a little thick. I love the color, but I’m not a fan of the formula.

Laura Mercier Lip Gloss in Blush

This is a very sheer, natural gloss. This would be great for a nude lip.

Tarte Lip Surgence in Flush

I love the color of this lip stick! This is the only real full-sized product in the box. The only thing I don’t like about this line is that it has a bit of a tingly feeling. That’s always cool at first…but all day? I get over it pretty quickly.

Too Faced Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Melted Fuchsia

I was eyeing this line in Sephora a few weeks ago so I’m glad it was in this set so I could try it! The idea is that it’s lipstick, but melted down so it applies like a gloss. Fascinating, right?? I loved how this applied. It was a little bit weird to get used to at first, but after a few seconds, I was right in the groove. I’d really like to try more colors of this line!

Too Faced Lip Stick in Naked Dolly

This is another great nude color. I really like the formula on this one. It’s very smooth and effortless to apply.

Bare Minerals Moxie Lipstick in Speak Your Mind

Speak Your Mind is slightly darker than a nude lip for me. It’s kind of like ‘my lips but better’. This is another smooth formula. I also like the philosophy behind this line – empowerment of women! I think I’ll wear this one to my next staff meeting at work. :)

Laura Mercier Lipstick in Red Amour

Va-va-va-voom!!! What a sultry red!

Hourglass Lipgloss in Icon

Icon is a creamy, classic red. It dried pretty matte. Since I’m a chapstick addict, it will never look matte on me. LOL  Gotta moisturize those lips!

Kat Von D Lipgloss in Outlaw

This color is super pigmented. However, it is quite drying. I don’t think I could wear this all day without massive amounts of chapstick involved. That might be a sacrifice I’m willing to make for the right look, but I’d definitely prefer something a little more moisturizing.

Sephora Rouge Infusion in Red Essence

This is one of my favorite reds in the bunch. It’s not a classic Hollywood glam red, it’s much more modern looking and I think more flattering on me.

Buxom Lipstick in Menace

I’m very pleased with this lipstick. The Buxom lipgloss line has a tingly feeling  that I can’t stand. In fact, it hurts my lips after a while! So I’m pleased to report that this lipstick does not have the same issue.

Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment in Berry

This goes on smoothly, lip chapstick. This is very lightly tinted, despite the color of the product itself. Like other Sugar products I’ve owned, I will probably just use this as a lip balm and not a lip stick.

Tarte Lipsurgence in Moody

This is another where, despite the product’s color, the payoff on the lip does not match. This one is much sheerer than expected. Also, this one has a tingly feeling, which I mentioned above, is not something I’m a fan of.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in Black Dahlia

This lip tar is a formula that I’m not used to using. I had a little trouble with application and getting the color even. Part of the problem with even color is the drastic color. This is nearly black. It’s an interesting formula and I will probably try it again in a more wearable (for me) color.

I hope you liked this swatch post! It took a few days, but I finally got them all in! Phew! All in all, I think this set is worth the money. You get to try a ton of different high-end formulas without having to commit to a full-sized product. Additionally, you have a ton of pocket-sized lip stuff for all you beauty needs!!!
