Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate Review

{Press Sample}

The Born Pretty Store was nice enough to send me a stamping plate of my choosing for review. I chose Qgirl plate 016. I think I was drawn to the flowers! (The Mentality polishes used in this post are also a press sample.)

For this mani, I started with two coats of Mentality Loess and used Mentality Asphalt to stamp. The images transferred very well! The images are etched very well. Sometimes I accidentally smear an image if there is a lot of area that needs polish, such as the inside of the stars. I found that these were deep enough to hold enough polish, but not so deep that the image was flooded. It’s a happy medium.

Another marker of a good stamping plate is how well intricate designs transfer. I am happy with the results of these flowers. There are very few holes and the detail shows up well.

Finally, we have the fine lines. We also have another winner. The lines transferred easily and well. There is a whole lot you could do with this plate! Especially for you more creative types!

For those of you wondering about size, here is the plate next to a quarter for reference.

 All in all, I really liked this plate. The images are etched well and the designs are fun. I would purchase their plates.
