Ipsy Glam Bag August 2014

I got my Ipsy Glam Bag in the mail yesterday! I’m still loving the Ipsy subscription at only $10 per month. If you’re interested in signing up, use my referral link by clicking here! Let’s see what I got this month! The theme this month is “Back to School” which was also their theme last year in August or September. The bag is cute and looks like a pencil case like you would use in middle school.

Mongongo Organic Chapstick. This is my least favorite product in the bag. I use a TON of chapstick but I just buy the multi-packs at the store and move on with my day. I don’t see anything special about this one, other than it smells and tastes very “Organicy”, if that even makes sense. (Like the earth. Not a smell or taste I’m very fond of.)

Dr. Brandy Pores No More. I am excited for this one since I’m almost out of the current face primer I’m using. Additionally, I have liked all the Dr. Brandt products I’ve used thus far.

Klorane dry shampoo. Another one I’m not too excited about this month. I don’t ever use dry shampoo. It makes my hair look like total arse. I have to wash everyday or else I just look like a hobo.

J. Cat Beauty eyeshadow in Half Naked. This is definitely something I’m going to use. A girl can never have too many highlighter shades of shadow!

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. This is the product I’m most excited about this month. I love Urban Decay products and I’m always on the look out for the next best mascara!

I loved my Ipsy bag this month too! This was my 4th one and I got the exact same things you did. I am not thrilled about the dry shampoo either as I never ever use it, but I am certain I know someone who would be delighted to take it off my hands. The little bag is super cute too with the little orange polka dots. I think it would be perfect for concealing/carrying tampons. Lip balm is lip balm and I have an abundance already, but I have one of those paper black and white striped Sephora shopping bags that I put unopened unused cosmetics and such in for making up gift baskets or as stocking stuffers. This will be a nice item for that.
